Storm Damage
The power is out in nearly my entire state - West Virginia. Trees are down in the yard and driveway. Power is expected to be out for days so no a/c. Millions are out of power, their have been deaths and injuries reported. I pray for all affected by this storm in the Eastern areas of the US. We have water stored for drinking and water for bathing from the rain gutters. food in the cellar and the basement to retreat to for heat relief. The generator is running keeping the freezer cold. We need to be thankful for our many blessings and accept all challenges given with our chin up. I pray for those that have lost loved ones and are less fortunate. When in survival mode, please remember your neighbors and the elderly. They may be more in need than you are.

Supreme Court Ruling In Favor Of Obamacare
So the supreme court ruling is in favor of Obamacare. Now we will be forced to purchase the health care or be fined. This will kill the small businesses including my own. I predict it would put me under. I love living in a free country. I may join the bandwagon and get on welfare...

By upholding the individual mandate -- the requirement for all Americans to acquire health insurance -- the court kept what many described as the "heart" of the law. The decision creates some certainty surrounding federal health care policy, allowing federal and state rulemakers to implement the law....Read more here:http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-250_162-57462646/supreme-court-upholds-health-care-mandate/?tag=stack

Count The Chirps Of A Cricket To Get The Temperature
I had no idea about this..Very interesting. Does it really work?
"Did you know that you can tell the temperature by counting the chirps of a cricket? It's true! Here's the formula:
To convert cricket chirps to degrees Celsius, count number of chirps in 25 seconds, divide by 3, then add 4 to get temperature.
Example: 48 chirps /(divided by) 3 + 4 = 20° C"
